Chief Executive Officer
Noelle Brennan ’16 is a senior at Fordham University, majoring in Finance and minoring in Accounting. She is Chief Executive Officer of Fordham SWS. She previously served as Senior Analyst on the SWS Research Team, where she represented Fordham in the SWS National Stock Pitch competition. As a member of the Gabelli School of Business Global Business Honors Program, Noelle participates in international study tours and engages with a global finance curriculum. She also serves as Portfolio Manager on Fordham’s Student Managed Investment Fund, and she previously served as the fund’s Consumer Discretionary Analyst. Noelle has had internships at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Chase Middle Market Banking and J.P. Morgan Investment Bank Credit Risk. She will join J.P. Morgan’s Consumer-Healthcare-Retail Investment Bank Credit Risk team as an Analyst upon graduation. In her free time, she enjoys reading and drawing.
Chief Development Officer
Abigail Harman ’16 is a senior at Fordham University studying Applied Accounting & Finance. She joined Smart Woman Securities her freshman year and was a healthcare analyst on Smart Woman Securities’ research team. Her junior year she studied international business in London. In addition to Smart Woman Securities, Abigail was on Fordham University’s Student Activities Budget Committee and volunteered with Fordham Road Business Improvement District. Abigail was an accounting intern at Batyr & Company, a wealth management analyst at UBS and most recently a summer analyst at the Blackstone Group. In her free time she enjoys traveling and running.
Chief Investment Officer
Leona Lam ’16 is a senior at Fordham University, majoring in Public Accounting and minoring in Economics. She is the Chief Investment Officer of Fordham SWS and previously held the roles of Chief Operations Officer and Technology Analyst on the SWS Equity Research Team. Leona was invited to attend the 2014 SWS Warren Buffett Trip and selected as one of the SWS representatives to ask questions of Mr. Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway. She is a member of the Gabelli School of Business Global Business Honors Program and has been on international study tours to London, Paris, Beijing, and Santiago. Leona has interned at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency, KPMG UK’s Global Mobility Services practice, and PwC US’s Assurance practice. On campus, she is a member of the Father William E. Boyle, S.J. Society, Alpha Sigma Nu, Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi. Additionally, Leona has participated and placed in accounting and finance-related case competitions. In her free time, she loves to listen to music and to travel the world.
Chief Operating Officer
Erika Schwartz ’17 is a junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business where she is majoring in Public Accounting and minoring in Economics. She plans to pursue a Master of Science in Accounting and become a CPA post-graduation. Last semester, Erika interned in the global wealth management division at Merrill Lynch. In addition to Smart Woman Securities, Erika is on the Alumni Outreach Committee for Fordham’s Career Ambassador Club, is in Beta Alpha Psi, and is a member of the Boyle Society where she serves as a math and economics tutor. This fall, Erika will be studying abroad in London where she will partake in accounting courses such as Business Taxation. Next summer, she will be interning at Deloitte in the advisory division. In her free time, Erika loves to travel, waterski, play soccer, read, and spend time with friends and family.
Chief Marketing Officer
Laura Nevins ’17 is a junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business where she is majoring in Public Accounting. She plans to pursue a Master of Science in Accounting and become a CPA after graduation. Laura has interned in the finance department at Dow Jones and served as a representative for Spotify on Fordham’s campus. In addition to Smart Woman Securities, she is also involved on campus through being a member of The Boyle Society as a Gabelli tutor, and volunteering at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. In the Fall of 2014, Laura participated in a regional tax competition with Deloitte. This Fall, she will be studying abroad in London where she will intern at KPMG in the Global Mobility Services department. Laura has been a part of SWS since beginning her freshman year at Fordham and is honored to be part of the Executive Board.
Junior Chief Development Officer
Lauren Kelly ’18 is a sophomore at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business majoring in finance. She thoroughly enjoyed her involvement with SWS throughout her freshman year, and looks forward to furthering the club in her role as junior Chief Development Officer. She spent this past summer interning for a top financial advisor at UBS Wealth Management in Manhattan, and will continue to work during the semester. A former industrials analyst on the SWS Research Team, she is excited to delve into another sector as the consumer discretionary analyst this fall. At school, Lauren is a resident assistant in a freshman dorm, a member of Dean’s Council, and volunteers as a tutor at a local middle school.
Rose LoTempio ’18 is a sophomore Finance major with a minor in Accounting at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. She is an active member in the Fashion for Philanthropy Club, Debate Club, and the Student Culinary Committee at Fordham. She recently finished a marketing internship with FKQ Advertising in Tampa, FL. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Rose enjoys traveling, TED Talks, and cooking. She is also dedicated to the preservation marine life and has a soft spot for orca whales.
